MISSION STATEMENT

The Center for Development and Governance (CDG) aims to foster economic growth, democracy, and transparent governance in Bangladesh and other developing countries through knowledge-building, policy research, and program developments. The consultative groups of CDG, composed of local and international development professionals, are dedicated to contribute to social and economic transformations in Bangladesh and other developing countries compatible with the demands, needs, and challenges of the 21st century.

ABOUT CDG

CDG is a non-partisan and not-for-profit international research and consultative group. CDG is focused on research and policy analysis and advocacy for development, democracy, and transparent governance in Bangladesh and other developing countries. One of the core goals of CDG is to build sustained links between local and international development policy strategies and best-practiced development programs related to economic growth, democracy, and transparent governance. To implement its programs, CDG seeks support from local and international development assistance organizations, and private and philanthropic organizations. CDG works in partnership with local organizations in planning, designing, and implementing its research and development policy programs.
